CANADA

The Destination

Canada is one of the world’s premier hunting frontiers—vast, wild, and untamed. Canada offers an incredible diversity of species and some of the largest-bodied game animals on earth. Hunters travel here for massive Moose, giant Black Bears, record-class Mountain Caribou, Cougars and Lynx . With immense, lightly pressured territories and true backcountry adventure, Canada delivers a hunting experience that feels both remote and authentic.

The Terrain

Canada’s terrain changes dramatically from east to west, providing a wide variety of hunting environments:

  • Rocky Mountains (British Columbia, Alberta): High alpine peaks, glaciers, boreal forests and deep valleys.

  • Northern Territories (Yukon): Tundra, muskeg, rolling hills and big river systems.

This diversity means every Canadian hunt offers a different challenge.

Huntable Game Species

  • Big Game:

    • Alaska -Yukon Moose.

    • Mountain Caribou.

    • Mule Deer.

    • Black & Grizzly Bear.

    • Cougar, Lynx & Bobcat.

    • Wolf & Wolverine

For sportsmen seeking big-bodied, heavy-horned, or mountain-oriented game, few destinations compare to Canada.

Cuisine & Lodging

  • Cuisine: Meals often highlight hearty northern fare— stews and wild game when available as well as local specialties like moose steaks, fresh-caught fish, while at main lodges. Typical freeze dried meals can be expected on backpack/horseback hunts while spiking out.

  • Lodging: Accommodations vary with the region and style of hunt:

    • Fly-in wilderness camp with log cabin for remote Moose or Caribou hunts.

    • Wall tents with insulated floors and half walls, dinning area and shower room - Black Bear, Cougar and Mule deer.

    • Spike tents and mobile camps for backpack, optional wall tents for horseback hunts.

    • Basecamps are rustic and fully equipped with power, Wi-Fi and ablutions.

The common thread is warm Canadian hospitality in the heart of pristine wilderness.
