Askari Wild Productions is where it all began. In 2000, Kurt started his professional hunter apprenticeship in the Kafue region of Zambia, immersing himself in the rugged realities of safari life. By 2003, he had earned his full professional hunter’s license and started guiding international clients. Driven by a deep wanderlust and a desire to experience the diverse hunting traditions of other countries. Kurt’s passion gradually expanded beyond guiding to include filming and photography. This creative pursuit led him to transition into a full-time videographer role, allowing him to continue living the hunting lifestyle while traveling the world. Kurt has a Diploma in Film-Making & Broadcasting and has had work  featured on multiple platforms including the Sportsman's, Quest and Outdoor Channels as well as Carbon TV.
